This is also a common misconception. Although the sound of a crack during a chiropractic adjustment may sound scary and painful, it is often said to sound much more painful than it is. Like any manual treatment, such as massage or physical therapy, muscles can feel sore and tired after a treatment, but it is often milder than expected.

Determining how best to go in with your day while suffering from low back pain can be tricky. Should you lay in bed all day? Should you walk as much as possible?
